John Wick: Chapter 4″ is an action-packed sequel that continues the story of the legendary hitman, John Wick, on his quest for vengeance. The movie provides plenty of fast-paced action, high-stakes chases, and expertly choreographed fight scenes.
Keanu Reeves once again delivers a strong performance as the titular character, providing a stoic yet compelling presence on screen. The supporting cast also impresses, particularly newcomer Rina Sawayama, whose physical prowess in fight scenes adds a new dimension to the film.
That being said, the film can feel somewhat repetitious at times. Many of the fight scenes, while well-executed, begin to feel predictable and familiar as the movie progresses. Similarly, while the set-pieces are impressive, they are not particularly original or groundbreaking.
Additionally, the plot itself can be somewhat convoluted, with twists and turns that can be difficult to fully follow or invest in. However, the movie’s focus on family and loyalty is a refreshing and welcome addition to the franchise, adding greater depth to John Wick and his motivations.
Overall, “John Wick: Chapter 4” is a solid addition to the series, providing plenty of thrilling action and impressive fight scenes. While it may not be the most original or groundbreaking action film, it delivers on what it promises: a high-octane ride through the world of John Wick.
